2011 Small Farm Summit Volunteers

We relied on volunteers to help organize and facilitate the the first annual Small Farm Summit. Listed below are ways volunteers contributed to making the event successful:
1. Distribute brochures- Brochures and flyers for the Small Farm Summit are available for distribution. Pick up some today and send them out to local businesses, restaurants, civic association, and other groups that might have an interest in learning about the initiative or one of the speakers. 2. Grassroost Marketing-Social networking is one of, if not, the best way to promote the event. Please post a message with a link to this website on your social network page (Facebook, MySpace, etc.) and send an invite to all your friends and contacts. You can also Tweet about it! and send an email to everyone in your email address book.
3. Organizing. Volunteers were responsible for registering guests, directing individuals to their classes, setting up and breaking down tables, placing location signs on the campus, handing out programs, distributing and collecting survey, and much more.
